Yes, it would be weird. And obnoxious. Loud exhaust is supposed to imply little resistance when exiting the engine, meaning the engine does not have to work as hard to push out the exhaust. Typically, this is only beneficial (and cost effective!) when done on a tuned engine. If u put it on a stock engine, you're just being obnoxious, because it is really just being loud, & offers next to 0 performance benefit.

Save ur money & get a turbo kit. Port polish ur engine. Lengthen ur camshafts, etc. But do not just put a coffee can exhaust on because it is ''pretty cool''.

It is like putting those stupid colorful beads in ur bicycle tire spokes.

Just because it is loud, does not mean it is fast.

Weird is a relative term. What is weird to one man is normal to another.
anyway, you might want to talk to 2 or 3 non Toyota mechanics who know a lot. ... putting a different pipe on your car might goof up the computers, etc. l personally do not have a clue... but it would be a shame if a modification goofs up your car. Good Luck
